• They assist individuals, families, and businesses in selecting the appropriate health insurance plans that meet their needs and budgets. Health insurance agents provide information about various plans, explain the coverage details, help with the application process, and offer ongoing support to ensure clients understand their benefits and coverage.

• A health insurance agency is an entity that employs or contracts with health insurance agents to provide these services. The agency acts as an intermediary between insurance carriers and clients, facilitating the sale and management of health insurance policies. 

• The agency ensures that its agents are properly trained, licensed, and compliant with all relevant federal and state regulations.

What a Health Insurance Agent and Agency Are Not:

• A health insurance agent and agency are not healthcare providers. They do not offer medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or provide treatment. Their role is limited to providing information and services related to health insurance coverage.

• A health insurance agent and agency are not financial advisors or planners. While they may discuss the costs and benefits of different insurance plans, they do not provide comprehensive financial planning services.

• A health insurance agent and agency are not representatives of the government. While they may assist with enrolling in government-sponsored health insurance programs like Medicare or ACA plans, they operate independently and are not affiliated with any government entity.

I became a licensed health insurance agent and started my own agency because I’ve witnessed firsthand how friends and family struggled with serious health issues, all while trying to navigate the complex world of health insurance without proper guidance.

It became clear to me that access to the right coverage isn’t just important—it’s essential for peace of mind and well-being.

After spending 25 successful years working in operations mgmt. in the corporate world, and the last 7 years consulting businesses on strategic planning,

I challenged myself to learn a new skill set to be able to continue help people in my community but in a different way for the second half of my life journey.

That's why I became a licensed health insurance agent and agency owner.

But, I didn’t simply get an insurance license; I have completely immersed myself in understanding the health insurance industry—from Medicare and individual healthcare plans to supplemental plans and even travel insurance. 

Unlike many agents who expand nationwide, my focus is on serving Florida and my local community. This allows me to dedicate the time and care needed to truly understand and meet the needs of Floridians without spreading myself too thin.

My career has always been about building strong relationships and achieving results, whether in startups, global social media companies, or Fortune 250 firms. 

I grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and look forward to, offering a personal touch and genuine care to all of my clients.
